In addition to playing the funny man in comic duo Pack’n Mack’n, Patrick is an accomplished actor, radio DJ and TV personality. His Japanese skills, Harvard education and comedy credentials give him the depth and credibility to succeed in a variety of roles. Though best known for hosting NHK’s acclaimed weekly program “EIGO DE SHABERANAITO,” Patrick’s solo work ranges from TV dramas to game shows to commercials, from political commentary to picture books. He has also proved his versatility in countless interviews with Japanese politicians, musicians and celebrities as well as international figures such as Arnold Shwarzenegger, Al Gore, and Korean President Lee Myung-Bak. This diverse and dynamic career has made Patrick Harlan one of the best known foreign-born entertainers in Japan.
